Engagement Session in Cambridge, MA
Some love stories just belong to the city—and this Cambridge engagement session captured that energy perfectly. From charming sidewalk cafés to the hum of the metro, it was full of spontaneous, everyday magic. Roopa , a young Doctor and Andrew, a teacher, both lived in the Davis Square area and insisted that they wanted to capture their story where it grew into a lifetime commitment.
We started capturing their moments in a cozy coffee shop in Somerville, where they shared laughs over warm drinks and forgot the camera was even there. Later, we wandered the streets, stopping for a quick (and photogenic) ice cream break that added a touch of sweetness to the story—literally.
A few shots near the Davis Square T gave us that classic city vibe, with just the right mix of movement and stillness. The urban backdrops, casual moments, and natural light all came together to reflect who they are—laid-back, connected, and totally in their element.
At Art and Memories, I love capturing sessions like this—where the setting becomes part of the story and the small in-between moments mean everything.
PS: If judging by their outfits, this looks like summer, IT WAS NOT! This was in March where there was still snow on the ground in some places.
